Finally, we're able to browse L'Wren Scott's long-awaited collaboration with Banana Republic in its entirety. The limited-edition 50-piece Christmas collection - a series of sparkling evening dresses, tailored daywear and luxe accessories "designed to inspire glamorous holiday parties out on the town or at home" - launches in select Banana Republic stores and online from 5 December.
"When we spoke of a collaboration, I truly believed the L'Wren Scott brand would be the right fit with Banana Republic and that they would also ensure the standard and quality we always strive for. I knew theyd be diligent in keeping us all on the same page thats what a collaboration must be: a merging of DNA," Scott told us. "The goal of this collection is to celebrate women. I love the holidays because women are likely to be a bit more adventurous with their looks, experimenting with colours, prints and cuts. This collection is feminine and flirty - perfect from day to night."
Three original prints were created exclusively for the collection - a playful lip print, a romantic floral and a bold candy stripe - and are featured prominently throughout. Hero pieces include a sequin party dress, bejewelled cardigan and lace blazer.
